A Heart Touching Story (Must Read)

Dear Friends,

My wife called, ‘How long will you be with that newspaper? Will you come here and make your darling daughter eat her food?’ I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter Sindu looked frightened.

Tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of her was a bowl filled to its brim with Curd Rice. Sindu is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age.She has just turned eight. She particularly detested Curd Rice. My
mother and my wife are orthodox, and believe firmly in the ‘cooling effects’ of Curd Rice!
I cleared my throat, and picked up the bowl. ‘Sindu, darling,why don’t you take a few mouthful of this Curd Rice?Just for Dad’s sake, dear.

Sindu softened a bit, and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. ‘OK, Dad. I will eat – not just a few
mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should…’ Sindu hesitated. ‘Dad, if I eat this entire curd Rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?’………..Oh sure, darling’….’Promise?’……………..

‘Promise’. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinch the deal.

‘Ask Mom also to give a similar promise’, my daughter insisted.
My wife put her hand on Sindu’s, muttering ‘Promise’.

Now I became a bit anxious. ‘Sindu dear, you shouldn’t insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items.Dad does not have that kind of money right now. OK?’

‘No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive’.Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity.

I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child eat something that she detested.
After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with expectation.All our attention was on her………….’Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!’ was her demand.

‘Atrocious!’ shouted my wife, ‘A girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!’ ‘Never in our family!’ my mother rasp. ‘She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!’

Sindu darling, why don’t you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you with a clean-shaven head.’

‘No, Dad. I do not want anything else’, Sindu said with finality.

‘Please, Sindu, why don’t you try to understand our feelings?’ I tried to plead with her.

‘Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice’. Sindu was in tears. ‘And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for.Now, you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story of King Harishchandra,and its moral that we should honor our promises no matter what?’

It was time for me to call the shots. ‘Our promise must be kept.’

‘Are you out your mind?’ chorused my mother and wife.

‘No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honor her own. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.’

With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big and beautiful.
On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom.She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile.
Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, ‘Sinduja, please wait for me!’
What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. ‘May be, that is the in-stuff’, I thought.

‘Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!’ Without introducing herself, a lady got out of the car, and continued,’ That boy who is walking along with your daughter is my son Harish.He is suffering from… … leukemia.’ She paused to muffle her sobs. Harish could not attend the school for the whole of the last month.He lost all his hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates’Sinduja visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue.
But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son!
Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter.’

I stood transfix. And then, I wept. ‘My little Angel, you are teaching me how self-less real love is!’

The Four Ace Extravaganza (Card Tricks)

Preparation: Remove the four aces from the deck and the cards 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (any suits). Put the four aces on top of the deck. (Later they'll be found in order from the top down.) Put the other eight cards in order from 2 through 9 and place them on top of the aces. Starting with the top card, the deck should be 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,A,A,A, then the rest of the cards. Now you are ready!

Procedure:

1. Bet the audience that they can find all the aces. Shuffle the deck, making sure that the top 12 cards stay in order on the top. (The audience won't notice, I guarantee.)

2. Ask a member of the audience to name a number between 10 and 20 (not including 20). Count that many cards one at a time face down onto the table.

3. Now ask him (or her) to add the 2 digits of his number together and state the sum. Pick up the cards on the table and count that many cards back onto the deck.

4. Remove the NEXT card and lay it face up on the table (it will be the first ace). Place the remaining cards on top of the deck without disarranging them!!!

5. Shuffle again without disarranging the top 11 cards and repeat steps 2-4 TWO more times!!

6. Now place the deck face down in front of the person and tell him to think of a number between 1 and 9. Have him count that many cards face down onto the table and turn the last card dealt face up.

7. If he thought of 9, he'll turn up the Ace. When this happens it makes the trick better, but it usually doesn't. If he thought of another number, he'll turn up a 9, 8,7,6,5,4,3, or 2. Tell him to deal off that many cards--counting the turned-up card as the FIRST--and the last card he deals will be the fourth ACE!

8. It's a good trick but don't do it more than once for the same audience.

“Diberkati untuk Memberkati” itu adalah tema retreat bagi para remaja pemuda di sebuah gereja yang saya hendak ikuti. Dan kegiatan itu diadakan beberapa hari lagi. Nah, kemarin saya sempat hunting sebuah film yang akhir-akhir ini sedang banyak dibicarakan. Film tersebut berjudul “Facing the Giants” yang diproduseri oleh Alex dan Stephen Kendrick.

Film yang berdurasi total 110 menit ini bercerita tentang Grant Taylor, seorang pelatih olahraga American Football di Shiloh High School. Grant Taylor mengalami sebuah pergumulan besar dalam kehidupannya. Dia menjadi pelatih tim American Football yang tidak pernah menang kejuaraan selama 6 tahun, posisinya sebagai pelatih yang terancam dikudeta pleh beberapa orang tua murid, pergumulannya bersama sang istri untuk mendapat momongan, dan yang tidak kalah serta yaitu permasalahan mobilnya yang sering sekali mogok. Yes, He is such a lucky person to have all that kinds of problem at once!!! Awalnya dia hanya menjalani permasalahannya secara rational sampai pada satu saat dia mulai merasa depresi dan tidak sanggup lagi berdiri menghadapi berbagai tekanan. Dia berteriak meminta sebuah jawaban dan pertolongan dari Tuhan.

Pada saat itulah seorang Mr. Bridges menghampirinya dan membacakan tentang betapa Tuhan tidak akan membiarkan dia goyah, Mr. Bridges membangkitkan semangat Grant untuk kembali bangkit.

“Mr. Bridges memberkati Grant. Why??? He say that God told him to tell Grant that God will not let him down. Mr. Bridges terlebih dahulu diberkati dan dia melanjutkan dengan cara memberkati Grant.”

Setelah itu hidup Grant berangsur-angsur pulih, dia merubah filosofi timnya bahwa mereka bermain Football bukan untuk “Menang” melainkan untuk “Memuliakan Tuhan”. Grant menjadi pribadi yang berbeda, dia mulai berpikir tentang arti hidup, dia menjadi sebuah pribadi yang dapat membangkitkan semangat juang timnya. Lebih jauh lagi, Grant menjadi berkat bagi para anak didiknya yang tergabung dalam Shiloh Eagle (nama tim Footballnya), ada yang bertobat; menerima Tuhan dalam hidupnya; serta berjanji akan menghormati ayahnya, ada pula Brock Kelley yang menjadi rajin dalam pelajaran sekolah dan menjadi pemimpin yang sukses memimpin timnya; mereka yang awalnya dicap sebagai trouble maker menjadi murid teladan yang berhasil mendapat nilai 100, dan semuanya telah diubahkan

Grant mengalahkan segala pergumulannya di dalam Tuhan dan itulah yang didapatkan jika berpegang teguh kepada Tuhan. Satu hal yang saya kagumi, Tuhan memakai berbagai macam orang dengan berbagai cara yang ajaib. He always there for Us, Never Lose Hope, itulah yang dijalani seorang Grant Taylor.

Bagaimana rasanya bila Anda bisa melihat apa yang tak terekam di mata orang lain, mendengar yang tidak didengar orang lain dan merasakan apa yang tidak dirasakan orang lain?

Anda merasa sesuatu akan terjadi, tapi Anda tidak tahu itu apa.

Apakah itu sixth sense atau halusinasi belaka?

Gadis sekolah dasar di Massachusetts, pada tahun 1959, bernama Lucinda Embry, buta tentang masa depan. Namun dialah kunci prediksi kehancuran bumi alias kiamat.

Lucinda dikenal sebagai murid yang misterius, tampangnya menyedihkan, muram dan tak banyak bicara. Sosok terasing di kelas. Namun, dia punya rahasia yang membuat seluruh hidupnya penuh tanda tanya.

Suatu hari, sekolah Lucinda mengadakan acara mengubur sebuah kapsul waktu. Kapsul yang akan dibuka kembali 50 tahun kemudian itu penuh dengan amplop. Dalam amplop-amplop itu berisi gambar anak-anak era 50-an tentang masa depan.

Anehnya, bukan gambar yang dicoretkan Lucinda dalam kertas, melainkan angka acak. Dia menuliskan angka-angka dengan sangat cepat, sampai-sampai gurunya, Ms Taylor, merampas kertas itu. Jangan salah! Bukannya Lucinda maniak angka, dia hanya menulis menuruti bisikan-bisikan di telinganya yang tak terdengar orang lain.
Saat penguburan kapsul waktu, Lucinda tiba-tiba lenyap. Dia menghilang. Semua orang mencarinya. Petugas sekolah pun dikerahkan. Ms Taylor akhirnya menemukan Lucinda. Gadis kecil itu berada di lemari dalam kondisi mengenaskan, jemarinya berlumuran darah karena menuliskan sederetan angka yang belum tuntas ia tulis di kertas.

Tahun 2009, saatnya kapsul waktu diangkat dari kubur. Semua murid saling berebut amplop. Caleb, salah satu murid, mendapat amplop milik Lucinda. Awalnya, ayah Caleb, John Koestler menilai amplop itu hanya keisengan anak-anak masa lalu. Namun, Caleb coba meyakinkan, amplop itu mungkin saja berguna. Penasaran, John yang berprofesi sebagai seorang profesor itu kemudian menelaah setiap digit acak yang tertera dalam kertas tua tersebut.

Mengandalkan googling di dunia maya, John sadar angka-angka itu bukan angka biasa. Angka-angka itu tepat merujuk pada sejumlah tragedi yang memakan korban luar biasa, termasuk peristiwa naas yang merenggut istrinya, ibunda Caleb, hingga membuat John tidak percaya Tuhan.

Setelah hari itu, kehidupan ayah-anak tersebut berubah. Tinggal tiga musibah yang belum terjadi pada 2009. Bagaimana John mengatasi keadaan ini? Knowing adalah sebuah novel karya Ryne Douglas Pearson, yang kemudian diterjemahkan dalam bentuk film di bawah arahan sutradara Alex Proyas. Film yang dirilis kali pertama pada 20 Maret 2009, ini akrab dengan nuansa thriller yang cukup suram.

Boleh dibilang, hampir semua penokohan dalam cerita menguras emosi dan kegelisahan. Inti dari pesan yang ingin disampaikan penulis agaknya tidak jauh beda dari film The Eye. Namun, film yang dibintangi Nicolas Cage ini unggul di tingkat kedalaman kisah. Betapa tidak, Pearson berani mengangkat sisi spiritualitas yang selama ini identik dengan dunia Timur. Dia menggabungkannya dengan derajat ilmiah, teknologi, dan pola pikir realistis ala dunia Barat. Tapi, Knowing bukanlah film hantu.

Bahkan pendapat dari beberapa lingkungan gereja, mereferensikan film ini untuk ditonton oleh seluruh anggota keluarga. Karena menurut mereka, kisah ini tidak melenceng dari kebenaran Firman Tuhan yang diambil dari kitab Yehezkiel yang di paparkan lewat kreativitas sinematografi.

Pearson sukses menyelundupkan ide sekaligus mendekonstruksi kebenaran tentang sejarah penciptaan alam semesta. Estetika berpikir penulis seakan membongkar paksa pemahaman individu terhadap realita dan kebenaran sejarah peradaban.

Bahwa semua yang terjadi di dunia sudah tertulis, tercatat rapi: yang lahir, yang mati, yang datang dan yang pergi. Dan hanya ‘yang terpilih'-lah yang akan menciptakan generasi baru setelah masa penghakiman.

Sekedar catatan tambahan dari kami, Knowing adalah salah satu film Holywood yang berhasil menembus box office dan mendulang sukses tanpa harus memasukkan bumbu-bumbu scene romantis yang menjurus ke adegan panas.

Mumpung masih inget and mumpung dapet ilham . . . .

Gini nih, semalem tuh aku mimpi aneh banget, mimpi yang ingin aku hindari atau alami itupun juga aku gag tau. Begini ceritanya. . .

Semalem dapet mimpi baru pergi sama orang-orang yang kayaknya aku kenal, nah waktu itu tiba-tiba ada 2 orang bocah yang sudah tidak asing lagi buatku bertanya kaya gini...

"Mas, Kak, Bro, Ko, Nii-san kok kowe gag duwe yang toh???(bhs.Jawa yg berarti : Kok km ga punya pacar to???)"

Langsung aja aku kaget sambil bilang gini...

"Wah, nek itu aku gag mikir kok, santai ae lah toh masih banyak kesibukan yang kudu tak urusin"

Ternyata seketika itu ada yang berjalan melewatiku pelan namun pasti, dia tidak lain adalah seseorang yang pernah mengisi hatiku ini, gag tau napa juga kok yo dia bisa muncul lagi to yo???

Setelah itu ada kejadian yang aneh banget sampe-sampe aku gag pernah berharap hal itu terjadi. Ternyata dua orang bocah aneh tadi ngedeketin cewe itu terus dengan gamblangnya bilang gini...

Gila, jelas aja Gue (Ciee... Gaul MODE : ON) kaget yang bener aja tuh bocah bisa bilang gitu tanpa rasa bersalah dengan umi dan Langit, apa mereka gag sadar kalo yang mereka bilang itu bikin bumi tambah panas alias bikin mempercepat proses Global Warming yang udah Rapid Fire ini???!!!!! Wah, Wah, guile bener tuh 2 anak, tapi dalam hati aku juga rada penasaran tu My Ex bakal jawab apa...

Ternyata ya itu tadi, jawaban yang bisa bikin aku gemetar nangis sampai kebelet p*p*s (sensor^=^). Dia jawab gini "...., ....................., ......................................" Hanya aku yang tau jawabannya, gila...... Ya emang gag ngaruh sih, tapi ya jangan terlalu tegas donk bug (*dalam hati ngedongkol*). Tapi itu kan cuma mimpi, so..... bagi yang baca kalo kebetulan itu kamu jangan marah yah, itu kan cuma mimpi yang aku rasa kocak banget aja jadi ya aku tulis aja sekalian di blog ini, yah bagi-bagi cerita doank sih. Dan setelah kejadian itu, tibalah saat-saat yang menentukan apakah reaksi yang kan terjadi padaku....... Dan ternyata..............................................

To be frankly, this is MY FAVORITE and of course One of the BEST Final Fantasy Series ever (after Final Fantasy VII and VIII of course)

Bagi yang belum tau apa itu Final Fantasy (walau hampir semua orang yang menyukai game tau), Final Fantasy Series adalah salah satu Video Game Console and Online(for FF XI right now) yang berformat RPG (Role Playing Game). Sesuai dengan judulnya Final Fantasy yang dapat kalian artikan sendiri sesuai apa yang kalian pahami, tapi yang pasti FFS(Final Fantasy Series) selalu ditunggu kehadirannya oleh para FF Fans out there.WHY??? Karena FF menghadirkan Action, Fun, Serious, Romance, Mistery, Betrayal, and Misery di setiap judul serinya dan terbukti tidak pernah membuat bosan para FF Fans, coba aja cek or mainkan game Final Fantasy VII yang adalah seri FF yang sampai detik postingan ini dibuat adalah Seri FF yang paling digemari oleh puluhan bahkan ratusan juta gamer di seluruh dunia (Don't believe???Then Check it Out yourself).

Okay, enough talk, sekarang bahas FF X.
Dimulai dari the main chara which is Tidus yang adalah sesosok pemuda yang gambarnya ada di foto cover diatas. Tidus adalah pemuda "biasa" yang kehidupannya dihabiskan untuk hobinya sebagai pemain Blitzball yang adalah olahraga yang selalu dipenuhi penonton di setiap pertandingan di seluruh Spira(nama dunia FFX). Tidus adalah Superstar di bidang Blitzball, awalnya tidak dijelaskan kenapa dia menggeluti olahraga ini tapi nantinya akan diketahui bahwa dia berusaha untuk jadi yang terbaik di Blitzball karena . . . . . . . . . . . . . (main aja gamenya biar seru, HeHeHe. . .)
Satu saat Tidus terlempar ke suatu dunia yang berbeda dari dunia yang dia ketahui yang akhirnya dia ketahui bahwa dia terlempar ke masa depan tepatnya terlempar 1000 tahun ke masa depan dimana dunia ini tidaklah damai karena adanya ancaman dari Sin yang ternyata adalah sesuatu atau lebih tepatnya seseorang yang dia kenal yaitu . . . . . . . . . . . .Di Spira yang tidak dia kenali ini Tidus bertemu dengan seorang Pemudi bernama Yuna yang adalah Summoner yaitu profesi yang bertugas untuk membasmi Sin. Tidus yang melihat kesempatan untuk bisa kembali ke dunianya akhirnya memutuskan untuk menjadi Guardian Yuna dan mereka pun melakukan perjalanan untuk berdoa pada Guardian Spira yang disebut Fayth, meminta bantuan mereka untuk mengalahkan Sin.
Selama perjalanan mereka juga disertai Wakka yang adalah Ex.Captain Blitzball dari tim Besaid Village, Lulu seorang Black Magician dengan sifat sedingin es sekaligus seorang sosok kakak dan ibu bagi Yuna, Kihmari Ronso yang adalah Bodyguard Yuna karena selalu ada di sisi Yuna ^^, Rikku yang adalah saudara jauh Yuna dari suku Al-Bhed, dan Auron sang bodyguard legendaris sekaligus saksi mata hidup yang mengetahui latar belakang Sin yang sekarang.

Perjalanan jauh dan berbagai konflik pun dialami dimulai dari penghancuran kota-kota oleh Sin, peperangan yang mengakibatkan pengorbanan banyak Crusader, sampai prosesi pernikahan Yuna karena ulah Seymour (untung gag jadi!!! Gag rela banget Yuna jadi sama Seymour!!!UNTUNG GAG JADI!!!!!!)
Lama-lama timbul perasaan tersendiri antara Tidus dan Yuna yang setelah diketahui ternyata ayah Tidus yang hilang bahkan disangka udah mati itu juga terlempar ke masa 990 tahun lebih tepatnya 10 tahun sebelum kedatangan Tidus dan Jecht(ayah Tidus) juga bekerja sebagai Guardian dari Summoner legendaris yang tidak lain adalah ayah dari Yuna, mungkin udah takdirnya kali ya..........

Tidus yang awalnya hanya ingin mencari cara kembali ke dunianya lama-lama mulai melupakan tujuan awalnya, sekarang dia hanya ingin melindungi Yuna yang dia cintai (Ehmmmm!!!) dan terjadilah salah satu scene paling indah dalam dunia Final Fantasy.
Sembari diiringi lagu Suteki da Ne mereka berpelukan (emang FF paling jago untuk masalah Romance ginian, Two Thumbs Up for Final Fantasy!!!! )
Lalu. . . Bagaimanakah dengan Sin?? Gimana nasib Tidus, Yuna, dan para Guardiannya?? Gimana juga nasib hubungan Tidus and Yuna??? Terlebih lagi gimana nasib Spira????
Semua bakal terjawab kalo main gamenya yang tersedia untuk console PS2.

Nazca Lines

Garis-garis Nazca merupakan rangkaian geoglif yang terletak di Gurun Sech ura, khususnya di Gurun Nazca, daerah yang panjangnya lebih dari 80 km antara kota Nazca dan Palpa di Peru. Geoglif ini diperkirakan dibuat oleh kebudayaan Nazca antara 200 SM dan 700 M. Terdapat ratusan gambar, dari yang sederhana sampai yang rumit, seperti gambar burung, laba-laba, monyet, ikan, ikan hiu, llama, dan kadal. salah satu tempat didunia yang sampai saat ini masih banyak diliputi misteri. Banyak pertanyaan-pertanyaan muncul mengenai asal usulnya.

Garis-garis Nazca sendiri baru mulai marak diperbincangkan pada era tahun 1920-an, bermula dari cerita penumpang pesawat terbang yang melintas daerah Nazca, mengaku seperti melihat garis-garis samar membentuk berbagai macam bentuk makhluk hidup dengan dimensi yang besar. Tahun 1920-an merupakan era baru dalam penerbangan komersial di wilayah Amerika.

Sejak kabar penemuan itu, para arkeolog dari seluruh belahan dunia berbondong-bondong datang ke daerah Nazca untuk melihat dan meneliti lebih lanjut mengenai garis-garis Nazca.

Pembuatan

Tidak diketahui dengan pasti siapa yang membuat garis-garis Nazca. Teori utama adalah bahwa peradaban Nazca yang membuatnya, dengan menggunakan peralatan dan teknologi sederhana. Teori ini didukung dengan ditemukannya keramik dan pasak kayu di beberapa ujung garis. Selain itu, beberapa peneliti, seperti Joe Nickell dari Universitas Kentucky, telah membuat ulang garis-garis ini dengan teknologi yang kira-kira tersedia pada masa peradaban Nazca, tanpa bantuan udara.

Sambil menghangatkan diri ke dalam jaket anehku yang malahan membuat suasana semakin mencekam didalam keheningan malam aku mendengarkan lagu-lagu slow L'Arc~en~Ciel yang kembali mengingatkanku akan masa laluku yang aneh tapi mengasyikkan. Teringat sebuah mimpi dari seorang anak lelaki yang saat itu masih polos dan lugu yang merindukan sebuah kesuksesan akan cita - citanya waktu itu, "Mulai belajar untuk turut bagian dalam Pelayanan, Mulai membuka diri untuk sebuah pergaulan, Mulai mencari seorang pribadi yang mau dan menerima dirinya tanpa memandang seserpih kekuranganpun". Itulah cerminan diriku saat itu yang sekarang sudah berubah sejalan dengan berlalunya waktu yang tanpa ampun terus melangkah maju membawa setiap insan di dunia kedalam proses peralihan diri mereka ke arah yang menurut mereke adalah yang terbaik. . .

Masa lalu yang kembali kuingat ini tidak selamanya akan terus ada, saat ini aku berada dalam tahap melupakannya sembari menata ulang hidupku yang sudah bagaikan cluster sebuah computer yang perlu sesegera mungkin mengalami defragment agar otak seorang Ace ini tidak "berasap".

Lagu L'Arc~en~Ciel yang terus terdengar melalui Headset yang setengah rusak ini benar - benar membuat suasana hati semakin gelap dan terang dalam waktu yang bersamaan.
"Apakah Aku kembali dihadapkan dalam persimpangan Gelap dan Terang????"
Aku sudah bosan dengan Kegelapan dan Kesendirianku, hal itu hanya membawa pada kepuasan sesaat yang mustahil membawaku ke dalam sebuah resolusi kehidupan yang lebih baik. . .

Kembali lagu "Hitomi no Jyuunin" dari L'Arc~en~Ciel yang biasa juga dipanggil Laruku ini berkumandang baik di telinga maupun dihatiku.
"Senyuman...Kepedihan...Tawa...Tangisan...Kebahagiaan"
Didalam keterbatasanku untuk melangkah di jalan yang gelap selama ini tanpa aku kehilangan arah membuatku yakin bahwa aku tidak membutuhkan lempu penerang jalan, bahwa aku tidak memerlukan lilin yang terus menyala. Aku tetap dapat melihat jalan terhampar di depanku di dalam kegelapan yang pekat, tapi kenapa aku bisa melanjutkan perjalanan???

Ketika ku sadari bahwa cahaya yang selam ini kucari ternyata ada dalam diriku, YA!! Diriku!!, aku mulai menemukan titik terang dari semua pengalaman pahitku.

"I DON'T NEED LIGHT FOR I'M THE ONE WHO MUST BECOME A SOURCE OF LIGHT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LIGHT OF HOPE"

Kata-kata itu membuatku tersadar akan banyak hal yang selama ini telah kulewati...
Bahwa perjalanan hidup pahit maupun manis harus dapat dilalui agar Kepahitan dapat diubah menjadi Kebahagiaan dan Kebahagiaan dapat menjadi Harapan bagi Orang yang membutuhkan sehingga Mereka yang Dipulihkan dan diberi Pengharapan dapat meneruskan SIKLUS ini!!!

Ya!!! Ketetapan hatiku sudah mantap!!! Aku harus berjuang!!!

Banyak orang yg begitu bingung dengan caraku berpikir. . .

Awalnya aku juga tidak memiliki pikiran untuk hal ini. . .

Lahirnya Empat Karakter Dasar.

Karakter atau sering juga disebut temperamen, adalah sifat batin yang secara tetap mempengaruhi perbuatan, perasaan dan pikiran seseorang, misalnya karakter periang, pnyedih, pemberani, teliti, dlsb-nya.

Temperamen adalah gabungan pembawaan sejak lahir yang kita warisi dari orang tua kita dan secara tidak sadar mempengaruhi seluruh perbuatan, perasaan dan pikiran. Pertama adalah gabungan gen (plasma pembawa sifat) dan kromosom orang tua pada saat pembuahan yang menentukan temperamen dasar seorang anak pada saat dia lahir. Kedua, kebiasaan-kebiasaan mulai dari kebiasaan tidur, kebiasaan belajar, gaya makan, cara bekerja, hingga cara bergaul dengan orang lain. Ciri-ciri ini diturunkan berdasarkan kebangsaan, ras, dan jenis kelamin. Dengan menyadari hal ini, kita dapat mengerti mengapa tdak ada manusia yang memiliki sifat yang sama, mengapa orang lain tidak memiliki kelebihan dan kelemahan seperti kita miliki, dan sebaliknya. Kita tidak memiliki kelebihan dan kelemahan seperti yang dimiliki orang lain.

Hippocrates, seorang bapak ilmu pengobatan dari Yunani (460-370SM), mengemukan suatu teori yang mengatakan bahwa pada dasarnya ada 4 (empat) tipe temperamen dasar yang dimiliki oleh manusia. Adanya ke-empat tipe temperamen ini adalah akibat dari 4(empat) macam cairan tubuh yang sangat penting didalam tubuh manusia; yaitu darah, empedu kuning, empedu hitam dan flegma. Kini sebutan "cairan" tersebut diganti menjadi hormon dan unsur-unsur biokimia lainnya. Sesuai dengan nama-nama cairan didalam tubuh tersebut, Hippocrates memberi nama temperamen-temperamen tersebut sebagai berikut:

1. Sangguin (Sanguine) - Darah - Hidup
2. Kolerik (Choleric) - Cairan empedu kuning(Choler) - Aktif
3. Melankolik (Melancholy) - Cairan empedu hitam - Murung
4. Flegmatik (Phlegmatic) - Cairan phlegma - Lambat

Didalam usaha kita mengenali temperamen diri sendiri atau orang lain, sangat penting kita ketahui bahwa tidak ada seorangpun manusia yang hanya mempunyai satu tipe temperamen. Semua orang mempunyai gabungan temperamen. Kedua orang tua bahkan kakek nenek kita ikut memberikan sumbangan kepada pembentukan temperamen ini. Jadi temperamen setiap orang pasti berupa gabungan dari paling sedikit dua temperamen. Namun demikian pasti ada satu tipe temperamen yang paling menonjol daripada yang lainnya. Misalnya:

- Si A memiliki temperamen sangguin 60% dan melankolik 40%
- Si B memiliki temperamen sangguin 50%, kolerik 30%, melankolik 15%, flegmatik 5%.

Setiap temperamen selalu ada kekuatan dan kelemahannya. Dan semua kelemahan dari setiap temperamen dalam segala usia dapat diperbaiki apabila Anda dipenuhi oleh ROH KUDUS, sehingga menghasilkan 9(sembilan)buah Roh seperti yang tertulis di dalam Galatia 5:22-23, yaitu:kasih, sukacita, damai sejahtera, kesabaran, kemurahan, kebaikan, kesetiaan, kelemah-lembutan, penguasaan diri. Semakin dewasa kerohaniaan seorang Kristen, semakin sulit menilai temperamen dasarnya, karena ia semakin dapat menguasai kelemahan-kelemahannya, sehingga kebiasaannya yang suka berdusta akan berganti menjadi suka berkata benar, pembawaan yang suka dendam jadi pemaaf, yang kejam, kasar, keras, akan semakin lembut dan penuh kasih, dll.
